INM province marches into PC 2010 with intense moments of prayer

| Chennai, Feb. 1. In all, 98 members of PC 2010 gathered in the evening at Don Bosco Hall of Citadel to arm themselves with the power and presence of the Lord so as to go through the Chapter Days as moments of experiencing and expressing Grace. |

At 5.00 p.m., Rev.Fr.Maria Charles Sdb, the South Asian delegate for Youth Pastoral and also a member of the chapter as an observer put everybody into right perspective by his well prepared and visually explained animation talk.
He dwelt on the theme of `Renewal`as the foundation and summit of any fruitful Chapter. He insisted on `Personal Renewal` as a necessary prerequisite for a collective renewal that would come about as fruits of the Chapter. No one could afford to take eyes off him as his talk challenged each one present to enter into this Chapter with an open mind and heart. Showing various clippings, he succinctly narrated how Don Bosco had allowed himself to be renewed in his life time, the result of which was the unique Salesian Charism. The talk was followed by prayer moments in front of the Eucharistic Lord that lasted till 8.00 p.m.
It was a blessed sight to see the Chapter Members engrossed in prayer and personal reflection which was indeed a fitting starter to the four days long conclave.
