UPS, Rome - The Annual Conference of the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland was held in Derry, N. Ireland, 3-7 May, in which over 100 canon lawyers participated from UK and Ireland. An Indian Canonist, Prof. Jesu Pudumai Doss, SDB, presented a paper at the five day meeting on Freedom of Enquiry & Expression of Theologians - Some Juridical Considerations. The Social Work Department animated the First Death Anniversary of Fr Jude Edwin, who worked in the same department for three years. It was Professor K. Arockia Raj along with the H.O.D and other faculty members, who planned well and encouraged all the social work trainees to conduct praise-worthily the inter-departments tournament in view of the memorial of Fr Jude Edwin on 29th and 30th August 2009. It was a great day for the Salesians to celebrate his death anniversary with a meaningful Holy Eucharist Celebration on 30th August, at 11.00 am. . Read More »
