All days are good but July 31 was `best` at Don Bosco College, Dharmapuri. The second edition of the annual cultural fest BEST ( Bosco Explodes Students Talents ) was rolled out that day with great burst of energy and enthusiasm. The new scholastic year 2010-2011 was commenced on 1st of June, Tuesday 2010. The day had a blissful start with a beautiful message by a Prayer group from Kumuli. The second day of the International Short Film Festival continued with momentum generated on the previous day with the screening of more than 40 shorts to all the film lovers gathered in the Albert Theatre. ISFFI reached it`s climax with the Award ceremony held at 5pm in the presence of some distinguished guests from the Government and the media industry. Women`s day celebration at Village Integral Animation - Adamangalam Mrs. Sailakshmi Director of Social welfare department Thiruvannamalai was the Chief Guest and gave her message to the Vetri Pengal. Women`s day celebration was conducted on 13.3.2010 in Village Integral Animation. The Vetri pengal munnetra sangam with its leaders arranged for a function at Adamangalam. Nearly 800 people gathered in the VIA Training Hall. Mrs. Sailakshmi (social welfare department, T.V. Malai) was the chief guest for the function. She enlightened the people with the govt. schemes and gave a message to the women in particular. She was making the people aware of the different schemes like getting marriage fund those who have finsishe 10th std, intercaste marriage scheme and different educational schemes.There were also three Panchayat women presidents namely, Mrs. Rajeswari Raja,Adamangalam Panchayat president, Mrs. Santhi Rajendran the president of Kettavarampalayam Panchayat, and Mrs.Selvi chinnapaiyan the president of Gengavaram Panchayat..
